Opening Day - Join the Celebration!

Dear Mile High Families,

Opening Day is almost here, and we can’t wait to kick off the season with all of you this Saturday, April 4th! Please read through this important information about the event.

Throughout the morning, we will have team and individual photos scheduled. Your coach will be reaching out with your team’s scheduled photo time, so please keep an eye out for those details. Photo order forms will be available at the event - arrive early for your scheduled photo time slot so that you'll have plenty of time to fill out your form if you plan to place an order.

Our Opening Day Parade will start promptly at 9:00 AM. All players should arrive in full uniform no later than 8:00 AM to find their teams and get lined up for the parade. Teams will receive uniforms this week.

Our Opening Day ceremony begins at 9am and will include a parade featuring each team and player, brief remarks from our League President and local elected officials, the National Anthem and Little League pledge, and ceremonial first pitches from some of our players.

It’s not just about baseball and softball—it’s about community! We’ll keep the fun going with music, food for sale, a 50/50 raffle, and a special appearance from everyone’s favorite mascot, Orbit!

The celebration continues after the ceremony with several Mile High vs. Mile High games. Not all teams are scheduled to play on Opening Day, but we encourage anyone who can to stick around, cheer on their friends and teammates, and enjoy the day together.

SUPER IMPORTANT PARKING AND SAFETY INFORMATION: As you plan your arrival for the day's festivities, please remember that parking at the park is limited. We ask everyone to be cautious and mindful of pedestrians in the lot. Families with older children are encouraged to park across the street in the shopping center lot and carefully cross. Parents with younger children are encouraged to drop players off at the field first, then park across the street and carefully cross. We are working with the city and hope to have a temporary crosswalk and traffic aides on site to assist in crossing Juan Tabo. Please also note that there will be no left turns permitted out of the Mile High parking lot throughout the duration of the event in order to prevent any major backups exiting the lot.

We’re looking forward to a fantastic start to the season and can’t wait to see you at the park! It's going to be a blast!!!

See you on Saturday,
Mile High Little League
